Join our team, as a Head of Legal Strategy & Transformation!
We're looking for someone to support strategic and transformation programmes across the LGC Group, both Business Unit specific and Group. Lead a team of lawyers, working both within transformation programmes and supporting activities within Business Units (working with BU General Counsels)
You will prepare and support LGC through shareholder value creation (around restructure and/or exit options). Working closely with the General Counsel, you'll provide leadership in relation to the legal function, to improve the operations of both the team and the wider LGC group, whilst providing oversight and mentorship to data privacy matters.
You will also provide legal mentorship and negotiation of corporate and commercial agreements. Working with finance, business development and other LGC teams to prepare for shareholder changes and structural developments and support the execution of these changes.
You will be responsible for the legal team, ensuring coordination and flexibility of resourcing across BUs and Group activities. Motivate change and efficiency in the function, including via the use of technology and data, whilst being a privacy legal policy champion – working with the ERM team, train the wider legal community and advise all parts of the group on privacy matters. Providing legal advice and enabling others in the legal team to provide practical legal and commercial solutions.
