About the Role
Our client, a company is seeking a skilled animator for a long-term, full-time contract position. The project revolves around creating entertaining video content. The animator will be responsible for creating amusing content that combines animation and found footage to convey a specific narrative. The work can be completed remotely, and the client is considering mid-level to senior animators for the role.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the client to understand the project's concept, vision, and narrative goals.
- Create engaging and entertaining animated content
- Incorporate found footage and existing video clips into the animations to enhance the storytelling.
- Develop storyboards, animatics, and character designs to visualise the narrative.
- Animate characters, environments, and other elements using industry-standard animation software.
- Integrate sound effects, music, and voiceovers (if required) to enhance the overall viewing experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mid-level to senior animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing various animation styles and techniques.
- Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, character acting, and storytelling techniques.
- Ability to work with found footage and integrate it seamlessly into animations.
- Experience in creating entertaining and humorous animated content.
- Familiarity with video editing software and compositing techniques.
