About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled 2D animator with expertise in hand-drawn animation. The project involves the design and execution of three animations, each approximately 30 seconds long. The first two animations will be based on narrated stories, one about a caveman hunting and cooking, and the other about the historical evolution of the state of Texas. The final animation, lasting less than 10 seconds, will depict the spread of offset smokers from Texas to different parts of the world, using a map-based representation. While the client is open to diverse styles, they prefer a simplistic approach similar to the animation present in specific YouTube videos they can provide as references. The work is expected to commence immediately, with completion by the end of May. Although it is a single project, the client anticipates potential follow-up work with a mid-level experienced animator. The job can be accomplished remotely, without requiring an on-site presence.
Responsibilities:
- Study and understand the client's provided reference videos to grasp the desired animation style.
- Design and create three hand-drawn animations based on the given narratives and specifications.
- Ensure the animations accurately depict the stories and concepts outlined by the client.
- Maintain a consistent and visually appealing animation style throughout the project.
Requirements
