Job Description
Leading a team of testers to execute testing activities efficiently and effectively to ensure that the software and applications developed support and adhere to the required quality standards.
Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Coordinating with stakeholders to define testing requirements and priorities.
Identifing, prioritising, and tracking defects to resolution.
Collaborating with development and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Working with the Test Manager to implement and enforce quality assurance standards and best practices.
Working with the Test Manager to implement change in line with our business and team goals to enhance testing processes and methodologies and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Providing regular status updates and reports on testing progress.
Mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Setting up and maintaining test tools.
Supporting with the efficient allocation of resource within the team
Evaluating risks
Assisting in regular employee 1-2-1's
Lead internal meetings with internal stakeholders as well as within team.
Assisting, guiding and encouraging progression within the team.
Designing, creating, and maintaining test documentation

Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) in software testing
Experience in people management
Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to the others including stakeholders and direct reports.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to effectively work under pressure and problem solve.
Ability to effectively manage multiple people, projects, and priorities.
Experience with banking or financial software is a plus.
Ability to inspire and empower your team members.
ISTQB certification is desirable.
Experience in Automation is desirable.
Knowledge in Java is desirable.
Experience in using; JIRA, TestRail, MS Teams, Confluence, Clarizen, SharePoint.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in building scalable testing frameworks/applications
