We are currently in search of a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Performance QA Engineer to join our team. Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Create and support performance test plans and performance test strategies;
- Create user flows and workload models;
- Execute performance tests, monitor system resources, collect and analyze performance metrics;
- Investigate issues and bottlenecks;
- Configure and tune applications from a performance perspective;
- Create comprehensive test reports with suggestions for improvements;
- Support automation of performance testing execution and reporting;
- Analyze performance test execution results and application logs;
- Present and discuss performance test results with stakeholders;
- Create comprehensive test reports with suggestions for improvements;
- Review requirements and provide feedback from a performance perspective.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of commercial experience in QA;
- 1+ years of experience in performance testing;
- A solid understanding of the software testing life cycle and the performance testing methodology;
- Practical expertise with performance testing (JMeter, Blazemeter, Performance Analyzer etc.);
- Experience managing test documentation;
- Experience in benchmarking, capacity, load, endurance, stress testing, etc.;
- Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and knowledge of API technology and JSON structure;
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, AzureDevOps);
- Experience with application profiling and monitoring tools;
- Knowledge of programming languages: JS, C#;
- Experience delivering technical reports and formal papers on test findings;
- Able to supervise changes in software, hardware, infrastructure;
- Analytical mind and problem-solving skills;
- Good written and spoken English.
