Job Description

What’s on offer?

  • Location:                          Home or Hybrid Based
  • Travel:                              Some Travel Required
  • Salary:                              Up to £37k per annum
  • Car Allowance:                £5k per annum
  • Contract Type:                 Permanent, Full Time
  • Hours:                              37.5 hrs per week, 08:30 – 17:00, Mon-Fri

As our Transformation Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring that the agreed solution is executed and managed in line with our delivery, quality, and budget plans.  You’ll handle all things project-related, from creating and managing plans to assigning tasks and keeping tabs on resources.

You’ll also act as our “go-to” person for internal stakeholders and efficiently manage project budgets, making sure to flag any cost deviations at the point of discovery. Regular project reviews will also be key in your role to enable you to deliver transparent reporting on the overall progression of projects and make recommendations for adjustments to keep things moving in the right direction and to budget. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that can combine their technical expertise with strong interpersonal and leadership skills to successfully navigate the complexities of project management.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, management and ongoing maintenance of project plans.
  • Identifying and allocating resources for projects and assigning individual responsibilities to team members.
  • Acting as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout all stages of project planning and implementation.

  • Managing budgets associated with the project for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Leading regular project review meetings with stakeholders and the wider Projects Team.
  • Defining project risks and accurately maintaining the risk and issue logs.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in project management, ideally in the ICT industry, with expertise in Cloud, Connectivity, or Communications workstreams.
  • Proficient in working with and presenting data effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in People Management.
  • Familiarity and experience working within an ITIL-led organisation.
  • Strong understanding of Risk and Issue management, with practical application
  • Competence in budget management.
  • Exceptional skills in Management Information (MI) and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certifications, such as APM or Prince2 (Practitioner level).

  • Strong in risk management and mitigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation.
  • Effective people management, including conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Adept at building relationships.
  • Clear and effective communicator.
