Job Description
We provide summer placements for students in their penultimate year at university but will consider those in their first year or second year of a four year course. The placements usually start in June and will last between 4 to 8 weeks. This placement is suitable for anyone wanting to gain an insight into the construction industry and the projects we work on.
If you complete a placement with us, you will have the opportunity to fast-track on to another placement or directly on to the GDP. Your fast-track route will be determined by the amount of time you have left at university. If you are just returning for your final year, we will be able to fast-track you straight on to the GDP.
Placements allow you to get a head start in your career before you have graduated and give you an opportunity to gain an insight into a career with us.
As a placement with Turner & Townsend you will have the opportunity to develop first class consultancy skills and work with industry leading clients on some of the most exciting projects across the UK.
Qualifications
- Studying a quantity surveying degree and on track for a 2:1 or above.
- Right to live and work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship).
- These roles are only based in London

In some regional roles being able to drive will be necessary due to the location of client offices. Please also note this is not a remote role as we operate a hybrid working approach you will need to be willing and able to work in a Turner & Townsend office or a client site.
To be considered for roles in the Defence arena you will need to pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance – this process will initiated once you have accepted an offer and have indicated you are happy to go through these checks.
