Job Description
Due to continuing success and expansion, Turner & Townsend are now looking for a Planning Engineer to provide 3D construction and logistics sequences for our projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will need to have a track record of working in the construction sector either with main contractor, subcontractor or design consultant.
Job Objectives
- Produce construction programmes in Asta PowerProjects - P6 Primavera
- Produce detailed 3D models from 2D design information where required.
- Produce 3D construction and logistics sequence including plant, access equipment, site set up etc.
- Produce visual images/videos for presentations and tender material.
- Work collaboratively with wider project teams to ensure quality product produced.
Skills Required
- Working within the construction Industry
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as planning engineer
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and processes
- Proven 3D modelling experience
- Good working knowledge of software such as – Sketchup, 3dsMax, Revit, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, PowerPoint etc
- Construction related portfolio of previous work to review as part of interview process.
- Synchro Pro 4D experience advantageous.
Qualifications
- Ideally educated to degree standard in a construction/design related subject
