Job Description
We are looking for Project Directors (Project Management) who have experience in the Industrial, Science and Tech sector to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing large-scale, hi-tech construction projects and programmes of work in the Data Centres subsector. You will also have the opportunity to establish Turner & Townsend as the #1 consultancy handling large scale complex construction projects across EMEA.
Responsibilities
As a Project Director, you will be responsible for:
- Managing large scale projects and/or programmes of work in the Industrial, Science and Tech sector
- Establishing the project execution plans and master programmes / schedules
- Leading and coordinating the project team and the supply chain
- Ensuring the delivery of the projects and/or programmes on time, on budget and to the required quality standards
- Advising on the best methods of procurement and forms of contract
- Communicating effectively with the client and other stakeholders
- Fee earning for key projects and/or programmes
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Degree qualified in construction and/or engineering
- Professional memberships desirable
- More than 10 years’ experience managing large scale projects in the Data Centre, Industrial, Pharma, Manufacturing or Logistics sectors
- Established network with the industry supply chain
- Proven track record managing large projects and/or programmes of work
- Experienced in variety of methods of procurement and forms of contract
