Job Description
We are seeking MEP Senior Project Managers to join our award-winning, real estate team. You will work on sector leading, flagship projects across various real estate sectors, including commercial, office, mixed use, residential, industrial, and retail construction, development and fit out. You will have the opportunity to progress within a rewarding business with excellent scope for career development and promotion. You will also have the opportunity to support internal business initiatives and development, to offer our people an all-round exposure to the business. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate consultancy experience. Role within the project To lead project management commissions from a MEP perspective, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery. To ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex information systems and technology projects in the real estate sector, at the enabling stage (could include data centres, cloud computing, smart buildings, etc.)
- Develop and implement project strategies, plans and budgets
- Establish and maintain effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
- Monitor and report on project progress and other performance indicators
- Manage and mitigate risks and issues
- Prepare and deliver written project communication materials
- Prepare and present formal project progress and other reports
- Manage and coordinate the client, contractors and designers
- Attend and chair meetings and draft minutes, etc
- Manage and coordinate the MEP design, installation and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and regulations
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant qualification (project management or construction management)
- Ideally NEC accredited Project Manager
- Member of a chartered institute e.g., RICS or happy to work towards
- Good knowledge of construction industry themes such as MMC, Net Zero Carbon and Digital agenda
- Good knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process
- Ideally experience of working on various real estate projects
- MEP engineering qualification and/or background
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
