Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centres, Life Sciences, Pharma, R&D facilities, Industrial, Manufacturing, Distribution & Logistics sectors globally.  

The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting key functions within the Turner & Townsend team. You will be joining a team supporting one of our Global Key Accounts, based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

Job Objectives

  • Manage and coordinate the on and off boarding process
  • Fieldglass administration and monitoring
  • Maintenance of on boarding packs
  • Attend and minute key stakeholder meetings
  • Update and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects
    • Assist with D365 Opportunities, pipeline, finance reports
  • Management of milestones / Work breakdown structures / WIP updates 
  • Prepare Service Order and liaise with client finance team for purchase orders
  • Coordinate and action Monthly Invoicing
  • Chase outstanding payments and debt
  • Assist with financial queries from the Client and Suppliers
  • Centrally track Purchase Orders
  • Maintain commercial folder structure for Audit purposes
  • Maintain central fee tracker, actuals vs forecast
  • Control all critical account documentation

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in business administration, project management, or a related field
  • At least two years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a consultancy or professional services environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and familiarity with other tools and software such as SharePoint, Teams, and Visio
  • A proactive, flexible, and problem-solving attitude, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A keen interest in learning and developing new skills and knowledge

Desirable

  • Experience of working on projects or programmes in the construction, infrastructure, or natural resources sectors
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
