Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to be based in Phoenix, AZ.
This position is expected to begin in May 2024.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Works with a variety of technical and marketing staff
- Works under general supervision and collaboration with the Business Development Team
- Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
- Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English with an emphasis or specialization in Social Media
- Must have completed 3 years of study
- Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn and Twitter
- Knowledge of social media publishing platforms
- Ability to work remotely using web-based platforms for meetings and project collaboration
- Understands marketing and communications
- Hands-on experience / previous internship experience using social media to promote an organization, group or business
- Knowledge of social media analytics and social listening tools
- Background in understanding and providing metrics-based recommendations to improve engagement and increase followers
- Proficient in MS Office (current version): Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
