Since 1898, AECOM Tishman has managed the construction of some of the world’s most iconic buildings. We employ a diversified preconstruction and construction management staff of structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers; architects; technology specialists; scheduling and cost control personnel; and construction estimators and accountants. We provide expert consultation and guidance in all phases of a building project, from master-planning, preconstruction options evaluation and decision-making, to design review, estimating, and scheduling, through procurement, construction and occupancy. AECOM Tishman’s staff manages all consultants and contractors on a project, representing client interests throughout the project cycle. In total, AECOM Tishman has built more than 900 million square feet – including the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, One World Trade Center in New York.
Job Description
AECOM/Tishman has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Architectural Project Manager for our ongoing project at JFK Airport.
- Directs and managers the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
- Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
- Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Minimum Requirement:
• BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
- BS Construction Management, Architecture or similar curriculum and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Experience in Curtain Wall, Exteriors, Facades.
Preferred Requirements:
- 10 years of experience working for a large GC.
- Thorough knowledge of exteriors, facade, curtain wall and other enclosures.
- Construction Management experience in electrochromic glass.
- Construction Management experience in metal and glass work.
- Ability to analyze and communicate technical documents associated with exterior construction.
- Optimization techniques in value engineering in construction.
- OSHA 10 (minimum)
- AutoCAD, E-builder, On-Screen proficiency.
