Job Description
What your new role will entail;
Our EC&I nuclear team are actively looking to expand with the appointment of a Senior EC&I Engineer. We are looking for staff that are highly motivated, who can apply their skills independently - and as part of a team - to deliver projects to the benefit of our clients. Our projects are multi-disciplinary and may be at any stage in the project life cycle.
As Senior EC&I Engineer, you will report into the Head of EC&I Engineering. You will be responsible for delivery of EC&I design & engineering within that department, including the production of design documentation, design substantiation, as well as checking of the work of other engineers & designers.
You will be part of a highly specialised team, where engineering tasks are performed to exceptionally high standards. You will have the chance to work on a variety of high-profile projects, across various points of the project life cycle and specific deliverables will vary, depending on the project scope.

Here’s what we will need from you;
- Experience in Low Voltage Electrical Distribution
- Design expertise across Control System design, Building Services & Management system, Earthing & Lightning design.
- A working knowledge of BS7671
- Knowledge of safety standards (IEC 61508, 61511, 61513).
- Knowledge of Functional Safety and Reliability and associated topics.
- Project management skills.
- Preferable experience across Nuclear or regulated industries but we are open to the required skill-set across Oil & Gas and Pharmaceutical.
- Demonstrate sound technical knowledge and leadership experience.
- An appreciation of mechanical / civil and process systems and an aptitude to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Able to meet the requirements for security clearance in the UK.

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Qualifications / Experience
- Proven track record in the delivery of Electrical Projects.
