Job Description
Lead the planning and execution of vision system programs.
Design and implement robust vision systems for defect tracking, quality enhancement, and process optimisation.
Ensure the reliability, functionality, and maintenance of vision systems.
Collaborate closely with internal and external design teams to validate the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of vision system solutions, utilising virtual builds and simulation tools.
Leverage your expertise in data acquisition equipment and software to drive process improvements and informed decision-making.
Utilise in-house vision systems to drive advancements in manufacturing processes.
Continuously engage in refining and enhancing the functionality and performance of vision systems.
Provide training and support to production staff for the operation and maintenance of vision systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Exposure to data acquisition equipment and software.
Prior experience using Keyence, Incore, or Isra vision systems.
Proven experience in designing and implementing vision systems within a manufacturing environment.
Project management skills to lead vision system projects from inception to completion.
Proficiency in programming and configuring vision system software and hardware, including cameras, lighting, and image processing algorithms.
Solid understanding of industrial automation, and quality control methodologies.
Familiarity with simulation tools and data analysis tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
