The Transporter-TRANSPORTATION reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Patient Transporter is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of patients to and from clinical units, and various diagnostic treatment areas, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
This position is required to work independently under direct or indirect supervision. The employee receives assignments and is expected to carry them through to completion with substantial independence. Work is reviewed for adherence to instructions, accuracy, completeness and conformance to standard practice or precedent.
This position is 80 hours per pay period, evening shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) with alternating weekends and holidays.
High School graduate. Ability to understand and follow instructions generally acquired through a high school education.
Basic computer skills required.
Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers) required.
