Job Description
As a Graphic Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting captivating visual assets across diverse platforms including web, in-app, print, and email, amplifying our marketing endeavors across the UK.
On a regular day as a Graphic Designer, you will:
Create and execute highly polished visual designs to meet marketing teams objectives.
Bring a great attitude while working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. including Product Designers, Writers, and Brand Team to build an elegant and appealing experience for our end users that are meaningful and accessible.
Design visually engaging assets that effectively communicate brand messages.
Present creative concepts to internal teams and clients.
Ensure consistency in visual design, illustrations, and pattern library for desktop, web, and mobile applications.
Contributor of patterns and visual styles, created in partnership with Product Design.
Create icons and graphic assets for mobile, web, and desktop applications.
Use high judgement and sharp eye to make suggestions to improve the visual appeal.
Participate in customer design validation sessions.
Qualifications
As a member of the Graphic Design team, you will have:
- A portfolio of professional work and project examples, including but not limited to: emails, web / landing pages, social, slides and print work.
- Experience in campaign and brand visual identity is a plus.
- Ability to create motion graphics / animation and video editing skills will also put you ahead of the pack.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent) and Figma at the minimum.
- Ability to translate top- to bottom-of-the-funnel messaging into design with strong UX and effective calls to action.
- A strong understanding of the practical applications of design principles, including grid, typography and colour theory.
- A collaborative attitude to working with other disciplines and stakeholders.
- Excellent communications skills, either written or verbal.
- The ability to give, and receive, constructive feedback.
- A desire to learn from others around you.
- Excellent time management and workload prioritisation skills.
