About the role:
Altium is looking for talented, motivated individuals to join our Global Operations team. Based out of La Jolla offices, you will be reporting to our Head of Data Engineering and will be responsible for helping develop and maintain our estate of data queries and data reports. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of data at Altium.
A day in the life of our {Job Title}:
As a member of our core analytics team, you will be able to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of all aspects of our data reporting infrastructure. This will include (but not be limited to) the following key areas:
- Building and maintaining Data Models and Dashboards
- Assisting Data Engineering in building and validating data pipelines
- Working with business teams (in particular Product, Marketing, Finance teams) to develop their data and reporting requirements
- Build and maintain data models in our data warehouse
- Writing and maintaining documentation on our estate of data models and their associated dashboards
Who We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of Data Analytics / Business Intelligence experience
- 2+ years familiarity with using SQL
- Experience in visualizing data in dashboards and / or reports
- Degree or higher in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subject
In addition to the required expertise listed above, previous experience working with AI/ML, plus a knowledge of supply chains (within the electronics domain) or general experience within the electronics industry would be a bonus. Experience with any of the following technologies would also be advantageous:
- Working with either Snowflake or Redshift as a data warehouse
- Working with any of Domo, Tableau, or Looker
- Project management using JIRA
- Experience working in a software development environment
- Version control systems, for example git, subversion
- Issue tracking / project management systems such as bugzila, JIRA
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
