Job Overview
We're looking for an experienced, Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Elect bias) to join our busy Maintenance department at our Group's headquarters in Belton, Grantham. Salary dependant on experience - to be discussed at interview.
Job Purpose
Electrical biased technician with Mechanical skills completing maintenance activities across the site. The applicants must be prepared to work in Shift and days-based positions; Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, working as part of a multi-skilled team, this role will carry out planned and reactive maintenance as required during shutdowns and normal working periods.
Core Accountabilities:
Work in partnership with maintenance & production team members to carry out repairs to production plant, equipment, building Infrastructure and site services.
Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and equipment.
Installation of new plant or modifications to existing.
Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance.
Reporting of all maintenance activities in the appropriate format into the Computer Maintenance Management System (Agility).
Working in a safe manner and be proficient with locking out procedures in compliance with company and British safety standards.

Requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:
Comprehensive technical knowledge with PLC’s, motor & safety control circuits gained through industry experience.
Understanding of hazards and controls associated with machinery and industrial environment, ideally CNC's, Lathes and machining plant.
ONC / HNC in Electrical Engineering supported by a recognised apprenticeship.
IEE Regs qualification
Understanding & competence with mechanical fault finding.
A proven track record of effective technical problem-solving, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and continuous improvement process.
Experience of working effectively in an operational team of varying disciplines and skill levels.
Ability to effectively balance urgent and important tasks.
