A few years ago, we brought the construction of our advertising sites in house, creating Clear Channel’s first Construction Team. Since then, the team have been extremely successful and responsible for delivering hundreds of site builds, including our newest digital Billboards and large Storm installations. We’re excited to be growing our Construction Team even further this year and are looking for an experienced Site Manager/Construction Supervisor to join us for 6 months in Plymouth.
About the role...
The role will require you to work from our Plymouth depot, responsible for managing the installation and build of our small format advertising sites in the South West (mainly in Plymouth), which are largely bus shelters.
The Site Manager/Construction Supervisor will oversee the construction team, installation and corrective action programmes. Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar role, be experienced in ensuring H&S procedures are being followed and will hold a Supervisors CSCS card, SMSTS and NRSWA Supervisor qualifications. You’ll also be a confident people manager and be able to quickly build strong relationships with our local councils.
This is an exciting and ambitious project that will make a difference to the local community of Plymouth with new environmentally friendly bus shelters.
Requirements for the role...
- Previous experience in a site management or construction supervisory role
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Traffic Management regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of H&S regulations with regards to building and installation work.
- Hold a Supervisors CSCS card, SMSTS and NRSWA Supervisor qualifications.
- Solid knowledge of CDM regulations
- An ability to build relationships and influence with external stakeholders
- Ideally based in or near Plymouth
