Purpose of the role
Led by Digital Catapult and funded by Belfast Region City Deal and Innovate UK, the UK Digital Twin Centre will actively enable industry and innovators to safely embrace, explore and realise the dynamic power of digital twins. Operating from the heart of Northern Ireland, the Centre will accelerate the adoption of digital twins to drive global competitive advantage for UK businesses. By creating the conditions for digital twins to be better understood, more easily developed and more meaningfully applied, the Centre will give businesses real-time capabilities to make smarter decisions and achieve better outcomes, enabling the potential of digital twins to be realised, not theorised. Through partnerships with industry pioneers, the Centre will demonstrate how digital twins can responsibly revolutionise critical industries in maritime, aerospace and defence, and advance the products, services, and systems of the future.
We are now have an opportunity for an exceptional Project Manager to join us. If successful you will join an amazing team. This role may manage delivery of a number of Digital Catapult projects, working closely with colleagues across business development, product, technology, marketing and finance. These projects may be with commercial parties or with partners as part of consortia-funded collaborative R&D activities through grants, or internally funded projects. Our philosophy is to manage the planning, initiation and delivery of these projects using agile or waterfall methodologies as required and focus on impact & clear economic outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (Duties)
You will design, lead, plan, initiate, resource, monitor and ensure delivery of the activities of projects on budget, on time, and at a suitable quality level. Ensure early detection and management of risks/issues and achievement of set targets to achieve the desired project impact.
