Job Description
The Junior Project Manager plays a pivotal role within the joint venture, serving as a steppingstone to gaining broader experience in design and construction. They will contribute to the successful delivery of projects by implementing fundamental work processes used in Design and Construction, supporting all three project dimensions of time, cost, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of estimates, budgets, and contract administration of task orders.
- Supporting the development of plans and schedules.
- Tracking performance against budgets and schedules.
- Analyzing variances and identifying trends.
- Preparing project status reports and identifying potential scope changes.
- Managing risks and controlling project scope.
- Providing management and planning services to projects and proposals.
- Promoting planning best practices and understanding routes to project success.
- Identifying project risks and contributing to problem-solving and innovative thinking.
- Developing relationships with internal teams, consultants, clients, and the wider supply chain.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or Science/Engineering.
Desirable Skills:
- Basic understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, and risk management processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management software (E.g., MS Project).
- Proficiency in MS tools (E.g., MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to present complex information clearly.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and willingness to take initiative.
