Join Sportradar as a FP&A Manager to be part of the financial gameplan that drives the future of sports data! This is more than just a finance role, You'll be a financial strategist, translating complex data into actionable insights.

The Challenge:

  • Support the Delivery & Operations FP&A team by closely monitoring the daily commercial operations, focusing on areas such as Content Operations (data collection & production of accurate and timely data and video to power our products) and Sports Content Products (Data and Media products).
  • Act as an impactful finance partner with business leaders from Content Operations and Sports Content Products to develop, implement, and monitor financial plans and budgets.
  • Leveraging your financial and analytical skills, you'll gain a deep understanding of our business needs to support, guide, and advise management in strategic and operational planning and decision making.
  • Foster strong relationships and partner with the broader FP&A organization, BI  and data office team, Accounting, and leaders across the business to ensure high data quality standards for business insights and management information. Collaborate together to drive the implementation of meaningful business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.
  • Establish operational procedures to oversee and manage costs across projects, investments, and daily expenses, aiming to achieve optimal financial control and management.
  • Analyze cost trends and operational KPIs to support and challenge the business in optimizing spending, with a focus on production related costs.
  • Oversee trends and impacts for expenses related to data collection (mainly scouting costs), based on match coverage, cost per game and seasonality to support budgeting, forecasting and decision making.
  • Implement tracking of the roll-out of automated video capture via computer vision, monitoring both operational and financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with business unit analysts and FP&A to consolidate individual analysis and insights, delivering a global comprehensive overview for senior leadership on strategic priorities and decision-making.
  • Serve as a role model and passionate advocate of the FP&A organization, help lifting our organization to the next level.

Your profile

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field, Master’s degree highly desired.
  • As an ideal candidate, you bring over 5+ years of demonstrated experience in an FP&A role within a rapidly growing business, where you utilized advanced financial analysis and management reporting in an international, scalable business environment.
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills; able to resolve business problems with well-structured analyses communicated in an effective manner.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, demonstrating the ability to efficiently handle complex datasets, perform sophisticated financial modeling, and develop dynamic spreadsheets.
  • Capacity to create and interpret data visualizations to support financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities on a regular basis, without sacrificing the ability to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.
  • Proactive personality with analytical mindset
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
