The IT Senior Audit Manager will join a newly established team, reporting to the Director of Internal audit, you will be primarily responsible for leading a portfolio of Technology related audits or special projects assigned via the internal audit plan and ensure they are executed in a timely manner to the desired standard.  

You will work alongside the business to help it transform its operating Technology environment. You will lead the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of audits based on identified risks including ITGCs and automated controls. You will develop the Technology audit strategy in collaboration with the co-source team and the external auditor and be responsible for evaluating existing processes, advising on new processes and making recommendations to improve the effectiveness of our internal controls. You will work with various business, technology, finance, and legal partners as you plan, execute, and report on the results of each internal audit. In this capacity, you will gain valuable exposure to many organizations, processes, and systems within our global business.

 

The Challenge

  • Work closely together with the Director of Internal Audit developing the Technology audit strategy and managing Technology projects, including developing audit procedures.
  • Leading and hands-on delivery of Technology audit engagements within the Technology audit plan, including Sox ITGCs management’s assessment.
  • Conduct Technology process reviews to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of Technology internal controls and operation
  • Identify potential Technology risks and related issues by applying knowledge of Information Technology industry trends and present Technology environment
  • Produce and review Technology audit reports and work papers, ensuring effective documentation of results of reviews on assigned activities that have been made, as well as the recommended action that management should take, for easy follow up
  • Provide professional and added value recommendations to the audited areas
  • Identifying areas we can make use of data analytics as part of our audit process and controls.
  • Managing and coaching team members.
  • Monitor follow-up of actions and liaise with assignee for completion
  • Participate on special assignments (as required)
  • Due to global nature of the role; you will be required to travel around 20-30%
  • The position is flexible home-working or hybrid arrangement depending on the location

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Experience in Technology or Operations internal auditing, Sox ITGC, risk management, Technology compliance, Technology project management, information security, software development or technology (either in implementation, operation or assessment role)
  • Professional certification (IIA, CISA, CISM or equivalent)
  • Strong relevant experience in IT auditing, information technology, security.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with all employees irrespective of their status in the organization
  • Ability to work in different projects simultaneously
  • Ability to translate technology topics and into "business speak" to be understood by a wide range of both technology and business stakeholders
  • Results-oriented - ability to motivate, influence, and manage diverse teams
  • Experience a fast-paced environment that is ever-changing
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, ISO and ITIL frameworks
  • Analytical abilities with a high affinity for numbers and experience with data analytics or data science tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Python, R) is highly desirable.
