In the role of Senior Sales Executive in our ad:s (advertising & sponsorship) division, you'll play a crucial part in growing our sponsorship and brand partnership business, with a focus on sports betting operators. Your responsibilities will include creating and selling sponsorship rights opportunities, developing digital activation solutions and nurturing relationships with global sports properties.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Develop and drive forward Sportradar’s sponsorship business with a focus on the sports betting category.
  • Drive sales success in a competitive environment: take charge of the sales cycle from prospecting, preparing, pitching through to gaining commitment and contracting.
  • Manage existing and develop new global sports rights-holder relationships (clubs, teams, leagues, federations) from conceptual discussions through to contracting and representation, driving growth for both Sportradar and our partners.
  • Stay ahead of the game: keep a pulse on industry trends and developments, ensuring that Sportradar remains at the forefront of the sports partnerships landscape.
  • Introduce and sell-in Sportradar developed technology for the digital activation of new partnerships.
  • Contribute to the wider internal sponsorship and ad:s monetization strategy.
  • Represent the company at prominent global industry conferences and events.
  • Manage sales pipeline on the internal CRM system (Salesforce) to accurately forecast and maximize opportunities.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Senior direct sponsorship sales experience with a portfolio that includes seven-figure partnership deals.
  • Experience in consulting and advising clients about sponsorship sales and activation.
  • Understanding of the sports betting and gaming industry landscape.
  • Established network within the community of sports rights-holders.
  • A determination to break through barriers and overcome objections, turning challenges into triumphs.
  • Positive personality with excellent networking skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, essential for effectively managing a diverse sales pipeline.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered advantageous.
  • Genuine passion for sport and the sports industry.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
