OVERVIEW
Working within Sportradar’s Rights & Revenue Protection Services (RRP), the Trading Investigator will be responsible for contributing to the monitoring and testing of betting activity in line with the protection and enforcement of Sportradar’s intellectual property and revenue lines.
THE CHALLENGE
• Ongoing monitoring, investigation and improvement of trading performances - granular analysis by sportsbook/sport/league including occasional real time monitoring of betting activity
• Data interrogation and creation of management-ready reports
• Monitor processes to ensure achievement of service levels and early identification of any structural issues
• Promote and coordinate the execution of actions aimed at improving trading performance
• Conduct Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) investigations and support in-depth Intelligence-led investigations where necessary
• Assist in developing and producing formalized operating procedures specific to the role
YOUR PROFILE
• Must have previous trading or analytical exposure. Experience in a similar role within the sports or betting industry would be advantageous
• Extensive knowledge of core betting sports (UK, European, and US)
• Exceptional math skills with excellent knowledge of Excel and SQL.
• Previous experience with data visualizations and good presentation skills
• Able to identify various betting patterns or irregularities in data at the sportsbook level
• Knowledge of OSINT or HUMINT tradecraft is advantageous
• Technically-savvy, ability to learn online tools quickly
• Excellent problem-solving skills. Able to identify and analyze problems and find appropriate solutions effectively and proactively
• Creative and inquisitive thinker, keen to further refine systems and processes
• Fluency in English and another 'priority language' highly desired (Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, or Vietnamese)
• Flexible to adapt to changing priorities, able to work to tight deadlines, and willingness to travel
• Strict personal standards of confidentiality and security
