Overview
Due to some exciting growth here at Sportradar we are looking for a Trading Analyst to join our MTS team based in our Central London office.
Our MTS (Managed Trading Service) is a liability management service for bookmakers and lotteries for both pre-match and live odds. The service delivers a complete risk management service for all events where our odds are offered.
As a Trading Analyst you will be responsible for the daily running of Sportradar's rapidly expanding Managed Trading Service (MTS) and its core Pre-Match Odds Suggestion service (PMOS).
The OpportunityReal time monitoring of betting activity, Managing Risk and customer categorisation
Creation and management of Sportradar's Pre-Match Odds Service
Testing of trading platforms and continued quality assurance
Effectively responding to betting operator queries
Undertaking detailed analysis of Sport and betting market performance
Data interrogation and creation of management ready reports
Your profile
Experience working in a similar role within sports or betting industry would be advantageous
Extensive knowledge of core betting sports (UK, European and US)
In-depth understanding of odds correlation between betting markets
Exceptional math’s skills, a good knowledge of Excel or SQL is required due to the analytical nature of the role.
Strong articulation of analytical work
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to work under pressure
Flexibility to work with shift-based patterns
Proficient in all Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
Ability to take immediate action in a fast-moving trading environment
A highly self-motivated team player, able to work with new teams
