What You’ll Do:
- Prepare customer invoices, apply cash receipts, follow up on collections, reconcile customer accounts and maintain AR aging schedule
- Process vendor invoices, perform 3-way match before payment is made, reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Set-up payments and perform monthly cash and bank reconciliations, including T&E corporate credit cards reconciliation
- Prepare payroll journal entries based on the reports from HR/Payroll team
- Perform monthly accruals
- Provide Cost Accounting Support as needed
- Prepare month-end close deliverables, including but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses
- Execute internal controls relating to Procure to Pay and Order to Cash processes
- Respond to audit requests and interface with the Company’s internal and external auditors
- Participate in ERP implementation project
- Proactively identify, develop, and implement process improvements to achieve efficiencies and scalability
- Continuously improves compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Other duties and special projects, as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience of Procure to pay and Order to Cash process
- 2+ years of demonstrable and relevant Accounting or Finance experience - GL Acct
- 4+ years of demonstrable and relevant Accounting or Finance experience - Sr GL Acct
- Close process experience; required
- SYSPRO experience; preferred
- QuickBooks; required
- Oracle; required
- Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP; required
- Demonstrable knowledge of SOX; required
- Advanced and demonstrable Excel experience; required
- Ability to push, pull or lift 10 pounds
- Other task as assigned
