Management Accountant at Two Circles

Two Circles is a global sports agency, connecting fans with sport properties using data. We work with some of the world’s biggest sports organisations – including the NFL, Premier League, Formula 1, Wimbledon and UEFA – and have four times been named Sport Industry Agency of the Year.

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our finance team. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial planning and analysis process.

The role will report into the Head of Financial Accounting and Compliance and but will work in partnership with the Transactional, FP&A and Financial Accounting team.

We are seeking someone with a strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a passion for the sports industry. We are particularly looking for someone hands on, who will thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process month-end revenue journals and provide key weekly revenue reporting
  • Ensure accrued and deferred revenue are netted off and allocated correctly on the balance sheet, investigate aged accrued income with the billing team
  • Review aging of recoverable expense “work in progress” account to ensure current and billed/written off on a timely basis
  • Review other balance sheet accounts (eg. VAT, AR, AP & tax balances) to ensure correctly classified for year-end disclosures
  • Assist with preparing relevant documentation for preliminary audit planning procedures & interim testing
  • Assist with review and reconciliation of inter-company matrix

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience working on Salesforce is an advantage
  • IFRS background
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues
  • Experience in the sports industry is a plus
  • Experience in a global business is preferred
