Responsibilities
- Ownership of architectural designs & solutions.
- Development of cutting-edge cloud products.
- Guiding a variety of exciting projects.
- Working closely with the wider technical teams in both our Cambridge and London offices, (no travelling required.)
- Support and mentor more junior team members.
- Push boundaries within existing technology, while also creating and implementing new technology to achieve the best all-round solutions.
Requirements
- Higher Degree in Computer Science, Engineering / similar or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years hands-on Python experience in a commercial setting, demonstrating involvement across the entire development life cycle.
- Expertise in at least one popular Python framework.
- Linux / Unix experience.
- Experience writing automated tasks.
- Familiarity with defining and implementing API’s.
- Experience writing unit tests.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (such as JavaScript and HTML5).
- Experience with Django, Boto3, AWS would be beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, an out of the box thinker.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Great organisational and time management abilities.
- A strong self-starter, with the confidence to lead a small team.
- A passion for Virtual Production or Mo-Sys technologies would be beneficial.

Interview Process
Our interviews are quite informal and conversational, generally carried out over a 3-stage process. To help us learn more about your workplace behaviours and preferences, you will also be invited to complete a short Predictive Index (PI) Behavioural and Cognitive Assessment. Depending on the position, you may also be requested to undertake a technical assessment. The final stage normally involves a visit at the office to meet with senior members of the management team and get a feel for where you will be working.
