Title:  Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Pipeline)  
Location: San Antonio, TX (Remote, but must be able to travel onsite for the first two weeks)
Clearance: Top Secret (SCI eligible)

About this role:

• Rackner is seeking a DevSecOps (Pipeline) SME to work in cooperation with the Pipeline Services Product Line Manager and the UP Infrastructure Lead Engineer to develop an overall architecture and implementation plan for CI/CD pipelines compatible with the DoD CIO DevSecOps Reference Design and the UP cATO.
• Works with stakeholders and customers to achieve a CtF for software built by tenant application teams.

We are seeking professionals with:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or industry experience equivalent
• 7+ years; contributing on a technical team for a software or IT project: 
  • 3 years; Development of DevSecOps CI/CD Pipelines
    • Creating CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and GitLab Runners or equivalent technologies
    • DevOps and Platform Engineering
    • Automation of build tools for modern programming languages
    • Automated Tests implemented via pipelines
    • Package managers: Maven/Gradle/PyPi/npm
    • Cybersecurity vulnerability scanning (SAST and DAST)
    • Microservice Architectures
    • NIST Risk Management Framework
  • 3 years; providing technical guidance to junior team members
  • 2 years; leading a technical team on a software or IT project with proven performance

What will make you successful:

• Work with the Cybersecurity team by implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
• Use automation best practices, such as IaC and GitOps, for repeatability and fast provisioning of environments
• The DevSecOps architecture should function in highly classified systems
• Work closely with development teams to provide onboarding support
• Ensure platform and networks are compliant with DoD policies
