The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining Oracle and SQL estates for our clients and will provide expert knowledge and guidance to other team members on critical issues. It would be advantageous to have experience in setting up and monitoring the performance of a large-scale environment with potentially numerous instances.
Our DBA will be part of our Managed Services team and will be responsible for providing database administration services to various clients:
What this DBA role will look like :
Requirements
• In depth understanding of the Oracle database, SQL Server databases, related utilities and tools
• Sufficient Understanding of Database concepts to be able to implement different RDBMS technologies.
• Good understanding of the operating systems; Windows and Unix
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server backup and recovery scenarios
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in database change management and data management through the various stages of the development
life cycle
• Presentation/Communication Skills
• Oracle Certified or MCP Certified
