Responsibilities
Participate in the maintenance activities of Exotec, including frequent travel to client sites across North America, with a focus on customer satisfaction
Perform preventive or retrofit maintenance tasks on systems and machines
Respond quickly to emergency situations, requiring some on-call work
Support Exotec’s integrators as required
Assist with installation and deployment of new systems or machines on client sites from time to time
Report internally the issues on the system, in a philosophy of continuous improvement of the system
Act as one of the main interlocutors for Exotec's R&D teams on specific maintenance issues
Propose improvement of maintenance procedures and processes
Ensure adherence to any maintenance contracts: regular reporting, pricing of out of actions, customer meetings, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering required
First experience on a robotics related job
Broad knowledge on software, mechanical and electrical engineering
Ability to work on various tasks from mechanical troubleshooting to robotic software configuration
Good competencies in robotic design and configuration
Good SQL programming skills
Ability to switch quickly between field and office work
Problem solving mindset and high autonomy level
Ability to talk to clients, contractors or suppliers
Comfort with up to 60% travel to client sites across North America
