Infopro Digital group is recruiting for a Programme Delivery Manager on a permanent basis to join it’s Barbour ABI brand. Barbour ABI is the UK’s leading provider of intelligence and lead generation services that help clients to generate new business opportunities from the construction sector. With more than 80 years of experience and 100+ colleagues based at Cheshire Oaks within our research, sales, client management and marketing teams, the quality of our data collection processes and existing knowledge in researching and tracking construction projects is second to none – we publish the UK Government’s National Infrastructure & Construction Pipeline and provide the Office for National Statistics with critical data to produce its Construction New Orders estimates.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Programme Delivery Manager will have oversight of new product development projects across Barbour ABI from concept to launch, working closely with the Project Manager and project teams to ensure on-time delivery and benefits realisation. They will also support the product development function by gathering product requirements and prioritising product backlogs. You will have 1 Project Manager reporting to you.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements
· 3-5+ years project management experience within a B2B or software environment
· Demonstratable product owner experience within a software environment
· Project management qualification (such as Prince2 or APM)
· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
· Exceptional organisational and planning skills
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Strong leadership skills, including the ability to negotiate with and influence others
· Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and presenting to a group
· Proven ability to make things happen in an environment of ambiguity and complexity
· Proven ability to evaluate issues and problem solve
· Proven ability to manage priorities, work well under pressure and work to deadlines
· Proven ability to understand customers and their needs, translating into product requirements
· An interest in emerging technologies
· Knowledge of project management and product management tools e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Slack
· IT knowledge– (Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
· Self-motivated professional with a high level of enthusiasm and desire for success with a proactive style of work
and positive can-do attitude
