Job Description
About the Team: The Menswear Designer, reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Development, will closely collaborate with the Creative Director of Lu’u Dan and contribute to other Brand Development projects. This role demands an experienced, creative individual to oversee design across all product categories, taking direction from the Creative Director to bring collections from concept to reality. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the Lu’u Dan’s brand, a keen interest in cultural trends, particularly in Asia, and will coordinate input from design, product development, and buying teams. Given the fast-paced environment, resilience, enthusiasm, and a collaborative mindset are essential.

How To Excel In This Role:
- Demonstrate relevant experience in a design capacity, showcasing a strong understanding of design principles and practices.
- Possess knowledge of fashion culture and familiarity with brands like Kwaidan Editions or Lu’u Dan, drawing inspiration from their aesthetics and references.
- Display proficiency and efficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, as well as Microsoft Excel, to streamline design processes.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of SSENSE's perspective, ensuring alignment of design efforts with the platform's unique style and audience preferences.
