Job Description
The role of a Senior Estates Manager is an estates management role for a commercial property estate comprising multiple offices. The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient and effective administration service as well as strategic advice for the estate. This role will be responsible for the management and development of client relationships in order to achieve maximum profitability and to generate new opportunities for business development within the Business Group and within Colliers International.
The core responsibilities of the role will include but is not limited to:
Reporting into the Lead Estates Manager or Account Director (account depending), an Estate Manager assumes a greater degree of independence in planning and executing their role and is a key talent pool within the organisation.
- To be the key point of contact for the site management of the estate
- To support the development and execution on key real estate strategy initiatives
- Identify, maintain a register of and report property related risks to the client team
- Identify opportunities to enhance asset value and minimise operational property expenditure
- Review and quality assure reporting and recommendations from specialist subject matter experts
- To carry out routine Lease Advisory and Agency work
- Undertake inspections of property and report on condition, risks and potential improvements
- Performance management of contractors and service providers
- Work with FM suppliers to ensure proper maintenance of Fire, CCTV and Security systems, Legionella, and other related H&S compliance procedures
- Lead the planning, development and monitoring of premises services
- Ensuring appropriate level of monitoring, supervision to the helpdesk
- Ensuring that there is the appropriate level of data, supervision and regular reporting on the H&S and Environmental performance
- Regular checks to ensure that the property files are up to date
- Regular liaison with tenants
- To be aware of ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements regarding health and safety, fire and hygiene
- To carry out any other reasonable management requests

Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel (to at least intermediate level)
