Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Daily management of the Accounts Payable Inbox, responding to queries via email and over the phone.
- Opening and distribution of Post
- Managing amendments and creation of supplier accounts
- Open communication with the business, and suppliers, to ensure that any queries or disputes with invoices are resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
- Manage a portion of the supplier ledger, ensuring invoices are paid and accounts reconciled monthly.
- Performing all duties professionally and in line with documented procedures to ensure all internal and external targets are successfully achieved.
- Carry out any adhoc tasks as requested in line with your role that supports the finance transaction team and Accounts Payable Manager
Qualifications
Key Skills
- Focussed and self – motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A good team player
- Proactive, able to use own initiative and is able demonstrate a flexible attitude to the work load
