Job Description

Join Colliers EMEA Technology Group as a Senior Application Support Specialist and become a key player in providing advanced technical support for a diverse range of applications. Your role will be crucial in maintaining software stability, performance, and functionality, resolving complex issues, and driving continuous system improvement.

Key Purpose: Ensure optimal performance and reliability of Colliers EMEA Technology Group's software applications. Focus on expert-level support and continuous system enhancement to align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Resolve escalated technical issues, analyze complex problems, and leverage in-depth knowledge of application functionalities.
  • Multifaceted Application Support: Understand the intricacies of a diverse portfolio of applications, ensuring seamless integration and addressing compatibility issues.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Manage incidents efficiently, prioritise for minimal business impact, and mitigate recurring issues through root cause analysis.
  • Performance Optimization: Regularly monitor and assess application performance, implement optimisations, and recommend system enhancements.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Partner with support teams, sharing insights to enhance overall capabilities, and document solutions for team-wide knowledge sharing.
  • Vendor Interaction: Coordinate with third-party vendors for issue resolution and stay updated with software releases to ensure system compatibility.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation of applications and support procedures, and produce regular performance and improvement reports.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a third-line application support role within a multi-application environment.
  • Profound knowledge of operating systems, databases, and programming languages.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ITIL certification or relevant experience in IT service management practices is highly desirable.
