Job Description

The Regional Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Performance Tapes North America (PTNA) team, as well as promoting positive employee relations through the support of plant and team member administrative needs. The administrative assistant will also support compliance with corporate and government requirements and provide administrative support to 3 of the PTNA sites as well as to the regional PTNA leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who has strong communication skills and pays close attention to detail.

This role will be based in Painesville, Ohio and will report into the Plant Manager with a dotted line into the General Manager. This role will be 8AM to 5PM. 

Your primary responsibilities and essential functions of this position include:

  • Proactively provide and manage administrative, expense and logistic support for the regional leadership  team, including but not limited to: calendar management, room reservations, expense management, mail, and travel logistics.
  • Assist with document creation including presentations, letters, etc and data analysis for the leadership team. 
  • Coordinate employee events/celebrations such as holiday parties, annual sales meetings, service anniversaries etc. 
  • Manage office files and records, including confidential information and required compliance postings, in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Perform clerical, administrative and general office duties involving: typing, record and file maintenance, document creation, mail distribution, UPS shipments, supply management, telephone reception, etc.
  • Arrange meetings, travel, catering, plant tours, maintain organization charts, phone lists, email groups, employee picture boards, in/out boards, creating key card and communication boards.
  • Support employee on-boarding and off-boarding process.
  • Provide administrative support to the hourly recruiting process. 
  • Other tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications

  •  High school diploma required. Associate Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 
  • High level of work capacity and ability to work at a fast pace. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and clients simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent skills in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office. 
  • Ability and passion to build relationships and work with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strength in listening to clients, understanding business concerns and taking action to solve problems.
