What you’ll do:
As a marketing associate for open source Projects at the Linux Foundation, you will be a vital part of supporting our most important Foundation brands.
This role provides an incredible opportunity to be part of the marketing support team, working with marketing leaders across unique technology Projects under the Linux Foundation's diverse community. You’ll be responsible for helping to execute the marketing and communications strategy for a variety of project communities and supporting the fulfillment of marketing and communications scopes of work. Your support of your team’s marketing plan(s) will encompass a combination of activities that drive integrated campaigns that leverage content development, virtual and live events, PR/communications, social media, web/landing pages, account-based marketing (ABM), and digital marketing. You’ll work closely with a group of thought leaders and program managers, as well as be supported by a team of marketing pros that enable our automated demand generation tools, deliver creative services, manage event venues and logistics, and provide analytics and reporting.
Marketing activities at the Linux Foundation help expand awareness of incredible innovations that our community builds together. New and amazing stories of innovation, creativity and community come to us every week. In this role, you’ll grow your expertise as you help to drive new membership opportunities and more engagement in developer communities, spread knowledge of impactful releases and collaborations, drive participation at virtual and physical events, and encourage training and certification on new technologies.
This position is for an individual contributor, no direct reports.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000 USD
