The MIS and Modelling Expert position at Dubai Islamic Bank is designed for a seasoned professional to oversee credit risk modeling & stress testing activities aligned with the department's standards. As a critical member of our team, you will leverage your analytical skills to develop predictive models that help us navigate potential risks.
Key Functions
• Develop credit risk models for the wholesale portfolio, focusing on data-driven insights, business considerations, and economic factors.
• Establish and maintain a model development framework that meets departmental standards.
• Drive innovation in modeling methodologies, documentation best practices, and model user experience, ensuring alignment with the bank's standards.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and assess model risk to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with the team to rectify validation and audit findings within stipulated timeframes.
• Leverage your expertise to implement the model development life cycle, fostering open communication and coordination among stakeholders.
• Support the development and UAT of risk DataMart to enhance future modeling endeavors.
• Guide and support colleagues, promoting knowledge sharing, skill-building, and staying up-to-date with industry and regulatory advancements.
