Within Fleet management dredging, we are in transition of a tailor-made system for Boskalis: “Ship maintenance management system (SMMS)”. As a junior maintenance engineer, you make the difference by providing and maintaining working instructions for our colleagues (staff and fleet personnel). You gladly help and assist in any way you can so that a smooth transition can take place. In the system, all our fleet’s necessities are recorded. It is crucial that the Ship maintenance management system is maintained perfectly so that we know what we have in stock. Otherwise, ships can come to a standstill.
As a junior maintenance engineer, you are a great connector. You don’t mind travelling to our vessels when your help is required. Your customer-friendly approach, coupled with excellent social skills, makes you a valuable asset. An empathetic listener with strong communication skills. You also exhibit a keen interest in IT, backed by in-depth knowledge of various software programs.
