Make your mark as a Laboratory Technician at Horizon Geosciences!
As a laboratory technician, you will be responsible for the supervision and management of certain aspects of projects assigned by the project manager.
Qualifications
Your responsibilities as a laboratory technician
- Laboratory testing on soil and rock samples.
- Maintain laboratory records.
- Equipment maintenance and cleaning as required.
- In-house calibration.
- Sample inventory and storage.
- Assist in the training of other technicians or laboratory assistants as directed.
- Provide active participation in the form of adherence to and improvement of the company’s integrated management system.
- Encourage working methods that promote health and safety and challenge those who do not work in a safe manner.
Your qualities and experience
You can make your mark as a laboratory technician if you have:
- B.Sc. level in geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
- 2-5 years documented laboratory experience, preferably in a geotechnical soil testing facility.
- Computer literate (MS office applications, MS projects.)

- Your team: You will be part of the Geotech Engineering Department.
- Where you will work: You will be working in our office in SAIF Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
- Fulltime/ part- time job: The position of Laboratory Technician is a full-time job.
