This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Operations team on an initial 24-month FTC. You'll work closely with various sub-teams within Operations, the Sales & Customer team, and Compliance to ensure the client onboarding experience is as smooth as possible.
As a Financial Services business a range of regulatory requirements must be adhered to, as well as identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance current processes to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
The team:
We’re looking for a Client Onboarding Officer to work within Operations reporting to the Onboarding Manager. The Onboarding team sits within the wider Octopus Operations function, overseeing the successful take-on of new clients and new investments.
What will you be doing?
Data entry for application processing
Handling, banking cheques and processing client money
Completing necessary investigations to ensure applications are compliant with our internal and external regulations – liaise with various stakeholders
Daily management of own workload to ensure that both new and ongoing work items are completed in a timely manner
Managing a busy inbox and adhoc queries from internal stakeholders
Help with streamlining procedures and processes
Ideally, you’ll have:
✅Strong eye for detail and ability to work precisely and exactly is imperative
✅Ability to prioritise and multi-task whilst working under pressure
✅Able to adhere to strict daily and adhoc deadlines
✅Customer focused
✅Must be comfortable using technology and leveraging digital applications
