What’s in it for you?
We’re looking for a new senior lead, or someone looking to take the step up to leadership, to drive our market leading content. Our content is already well regarded by customers anecdotally, and we’re looking for someone to help us take the next step towards measuring content performance and effectiveness.
Our ideal candidate would be passionate about the pivotal role that content plays in the customer journey, familiar with creating multi-channel content, automation and be able to demonstrate the impact it can drive commercially. The role will work closely on content supporting the marketing strategy across many areas of our business (retail, institutional and venture)
The team:
This role sits within our Marketing Centre of Expertise, which is our central marketing operations function (creative, content, digital, events), to plan, implement and deliver content companywide.
You will be managing four people (three in copywriting, one in content), the team values creativity, data driven judgments and wants to stay up top with the latest trends.
What will you be doing?
Design and implement content strategies that support and extend marketing and communications initiatives, both short and long-term, and establish continuously evolving content practices.
Set comprehensive goals for performance and report on the impact content is having on the business.
Leverage business intelligence and briefs to develop content themes and topics and create assets that support a point of view and lead to customers taking the desired action.
Utilise audience personas, content inventories and audits, customer journey maps, SEO strategies, and competitor research.
Manage content distribution and maximise our digital and social channels to increase web traffic.
Establish standards, best practices, and workflow processes for managing the content lifecycle, including requesting, producing, distributing, promoting, measuring, optimising and retiring content. Ensure all content is consistent with brand, style, quality, tone of voice, and is optimised for the various user experiences and across all appropriate channels.
Collaborate with the company’s senior creative team leaders and channel owners to identify content needs and opportunities.
Manage a team across all content verticals, including content managers, copywriters, and video producers.
Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness, gathering data and analytics (or supervising those who do) and making recommendations based on those results.
Establish performance goals and oversee ongoing measurement to evaluate and optimise content effectiveness.
Ideally, you’ll have:
✅ Proven work experience in a similar role within financial or professional services space, including managing and developing others.
✅ Knowledge of SEO and channel performance metrics (including automation programmes).
✅ Experience working on ‘always on’ content, campaigns, and events.
✅ Experience working closely within a sales environment across multiple products and services.
✅ Leadership, listening skills, and collaborative hands-on attitude with teams - strong stakeholder and people management skills.
✅ Passionate about storytelling and the pivotal role content plays in the customer journey.
✅ Adaptable, dependable, and willing to do the doing as well as the planning.
✅ Welcomes giving and receiving constructive feedback.
We encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick every box. What’s the worst that can happen?
This role will evolve as we grow and develop. So, if you are looking for a challenge in a fast paced and dynamic business, we can deliver on that.

Our Values
At our core, we believe that how a company behaves is just as important as what it does. That’s why we chose to become an accredited B Corp (the equivalent of a Fairtrade coffee stamp but for companies) and to change our Articles of Association so that the interests all our stakeholders – employees, customers, communities, environment and shareholders – are considered in every decision we make.
We’re committed to creating a diverse and inclusive employee experience for all. We promote equal opportunities for growth and development regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or socio-economic background. We believe strongly that teams are at their best when every member of the team feels safe to bring their whole self to work.
