Job Description
Develop and implement community outreach plan
Identify and build relationships with different organizations within the community where we can promote our studies
Research and plan events within the community that will allow for face-to-face study promotion to obtain new study participants
Identify marketing assets needed for community outreach plan and work with marketing team to develop assets
Develops and implements marketing content (copy, video/images, flyers, etc.) for general advertising and studies that align to target specific demographics needed by recruiting
Orders promotional items and other marketing materials
Support development and posting of various social media content in line with the strategy and / or actions identified in team meetings in support of all US C&H sites
Increase size of database for identified populations
Establish a “Business Ambassador” program for businesses that can refer panelists to our US sites for participation in studies: Actively build relationships with local businesses to become Business Ambassadors providing the needed training and support
Establish a recruiting process to attract potential panelists from local markets, which includes direct communication with potential panelists to educate them and collect information so they can be entered into our database and contacted when needed
Directly support recruiting efforts for the US sites as needed. This includes but is not limited to: 1, Conducting surveys to the panelist database to identify potential subjects meeting the criteria needed 2. Collecting data as needed and contacting potential subjects for additional information or scheduling as needed
Manages advertising spending in compliance with advertising budgets and marketing tracking spreadsheets
LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides guidance and/or leadership to others, including indirect reports, peers, or managers
May provide daily analysis and priorities / direction to recruiters
JOB COMPLEXITY
Creating unique and engaging content for digital and print marketing, content marketing, video, and social media marketing
Working under considerable pressure at times with the ability to multi-task and deal with multiple demands
Attention to detail is critical
IMPACT OF DECISIONS
Decisions will impact the SGS Cosmetics & Hygiene profile in the US market and will support corporate goals for SGS Cosmetics & Hygiene
Managing multiple projects from concept to completion, on time and on budget
ANALYTICAL THINKING/PROBLEM SOLVING
Ability to apply a creative approach to produce clear, compelling, motivating communications that achieve desired outcomes
Managing the campaigns budget and strategy.
Excellent judgment in determining the appropriateness and content of messages
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent - Preferred
Previous community outreach experience and/or executing marketing campaigns specifically social media campaigns (2+ years) Required
Previous experience working in a clinical trial setting Preferred
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
Cultural awareness; ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse populations
Proactive and detail oriented
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal and problems solving skills
Advanced presentation skills
