Job Description
As part of the Advisory Services Team a successful individual will be responsible for:
Prepare and check pack copy in accordance with the client’s requirements taking information from supplier specifications. Ensure that pack copy adheres to all current and pending EU and UK legislation, codes of practice and industry guidelines.
Prepare and check final product artwork in accordance with the client’s requirements taking information from supplier specifications. Ensure that pack copy adheres to all current and pending EU and UK legislation, codes of practice and industry guidelines.
Check, question and approve product specifications in accordance with the client’s requirements taking information from supplier specifications. Ensure that pack copy adheres to all current and pending EU and UK legislation, codes of practice and industry guidelines.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, design agencies, print houses and any other internal or external party in order to achieve the above.
Attend internal and external meetings with clients, suppliers, enforcement agencies or other bodies as required.
Give advice relating to legislation, codes of practice and guidelines.
Keep well informed and up to date on all relevant legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines, news and events and trends within the food and consumer products industry.
Qualifications
Qualified to degree level or have extensive experience of working in a Regulatory affairs or product quality role for Softlines
Conversant with UK and EU consumer protection legislation
Interpret and apply retailer corporate policy and UK / EU legislation
Ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally
