Job Description
- Job Title: Inspections Engineer
- Job Type: Permanent
- Hours: 40
- Job Location: Immingham
- Salary: £60K Circa
Main Purpose of Role
- Provide a statutory examination service to customers.
- To receive allocation of works, oversee and support, so far is reasonable and in scope, the clients statutory compliance in the professional, friendly and authoritative manner expected of all client-facing position
- To provide limited technical and legislative support to clients and colleagues within the remit of a type A inspection body
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to department staff and facilitate the development and enhancement of their skills and expertise to provide a high-quality service that supports customer business needs.
- Supervise the operational activities as undertaken by the department within the discipline of Pressure statutory examination so as to ensure customers deadlines are achieved, targets and high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensure all Health and Safety requirements of the department and employees are met in accordance with the H&S at work act and the Management of H&S regulations.
Qualifications
How to be a successful candidate
- Incorporated Engineer (or HNC with relevant experience) RG Category 2, or Engineering Technician (or ONC with relevant experience) RG Category 3 and 4(a) or trained in a relevant engineering discipline with a recognised and documented engineering apprenticeship RG Category 4(b).
- CCSNG Passport to Safety
- IPAF Certificate
- Confined Space Certificate
- Working at Heights certificate
- IOSH Working Safely
- Full Driving licence valid in the UK
- HNC or HND in a relevant engineering discipline RG category 2
