Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Laboratory  as a Data Input Clerk. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in logging and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of laboratory samples, ensuring the smooth functioning of our Oil Condition Monitory (OCM) laboratory.

Day to day, you will be responsible for accurately logging data for samples received from customers into the Laboratory Information System.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and maintain laboratory data into LIMS
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure the timely and accurate recording of results.
  • Perform quality checks on data entries to identify and correct errors.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive laboratory information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data management procedures.
  • Generate reports and summaries as needed for analysis.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience in data entry or a related field. Or will have worked in a position where strong attention to detail and accuracy are integral to the role.

You will demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills and will be proficient in using data entry software and tools.
