Job Description
We are currently looking for an Inside Sales and Account Manager to join SGS.
A successful candidate will be responsible for generating new profitable revenues by engaging and onboarding new customers, while also servicing and growing existing customers ensuring high levels of customer service and customer retention.
• SGS Food services include supporting customers compliance with the relevant regulatory and legislative standards and brand protection for food retailers, processors, and food services across the following sectors: Microbiology Testing, Nutritional Chemistry, Allergen Testing, Contaminants Testing, Investigative DNA Platform Services, Molecular platforms Services, Advisory Services, Retail Surveillance/Due Diligence.
Qualifications
Essential:
• Experience working in an environment aligned to the technical aspects of this role within the B2B environment.
• Experience working successfully within a performance measured CRM based sales environment.
• Meeting with customers and presenting effectively with a history of closing sales.
• Packaging and bundling services to ensure sales opportunities are maximized within and across direct area of responsibility.
• Sales qualification, or time served to demonstrate experience .
• Full clean driving licence for use in the UK.
Desirable:
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific, technical, engineering discipline.
• Project Management qualification such as Prince2, Six Sigma, CAPM, PMP.
• Customer Service qualification such as NVQ, Practitioner, Institute of Customer Service.
